Due to Covid-19 and limited space at our venue (6 Queens Walk, Reading RG1 7QF),
Reading Chinese Association will not accept any new membership application for a year.
This policy will be reviewed in March 2023. We are sorry for any inconvenience caused.
*If there are individual special cases, it will be submitted to the Reading
Chinese Association for review.

This is a booklet produced as a deliverable of the project financed by the Heritage Lottery Fund.
It presents a record of stories from the Chinese people who have made Reading their home. The stories
were collated by volunteers who had spent many hours in identifying candidates in the Chinese community,
followed by interviews which ranged from 30 minutes to 2 hours.
