A: Hi. Can I speak to Jane please?
B: Speaking.
A: Hi Jane. It's Lucy. I got a message that you had called.
B: Oh, hi Lucy. Thanks for calling back.
A: Sure. What's up?
B: I wanted to know if you fancied playing tennis this week.
A: This weekend? Let me see … Yea., it should be OK. Which day?
B: I was thinking of Saturday. Is that good for you?
A: I'm a little busy on Saturday. Can you manage Sunday?
B: Yes, Sunday is fine too.
A: Great. What's better for you, morning or afternoon?
B: Shall we say late morning?
A: Yes, that sounds good. How about 11 o'clock?
B: Yes, 11 is good.
A: OK. I'll see you at the club at 11 on Sunday.
B: Great. I'll look forward to it.
A: Same here. See you on Sunday. Bye.
B: See you then. Take care.
A: Good morning. May I speak to Ms Jane Smith please?

B: Oh, hello Ms Jones. Thank you for returning my call so promptly.
A: You're welcome. How may I help?
B: I was wondering if I could come and see you sometime this week. An urgent matter has come up.
A: One moment please. Let me check my diary … Yes, the end of this week should be OK. Which day did you have in mind?
B: Would Thursday suit you?
A: I am slightly busy on Thursday, but I'm available most of Friday.
B: Yes, Friday suits me too.
A: Excellent. Would you prefer morning or afternoon?
B: Would early afternoon be convenient for you?
A: Yes, I can fit you in at 2.:30. How does that sound to you?
B: Yes, that's perfect
A: Very good. I'll be seeing you at my office at 2:30 on Friday.
B: Thank you Ms Jones. I'll look forward to seeing you then.
A: Likewise. Goodbye now.
